Microwave Power Module-MNS-MPM1kW-18G

The MNS-MPM1kW-18G pulsed microwave power module (MPM) operates across the 6 to 18 GHz frequency band, delivering 1 kW of peak output power at a maximum 5% duty cycle.

Power amplification is achieved via a periodic permanent magnet (PPM)-focused, conduction-cooled mini traveling wave tube (TWT), paired with a solid-state driver amplifier to provide the required RF gain. The high-voltage power supply (HVPS) section adopts a modular architecture and low-noise power supply topology, integrating high-efficiency solid-state power conversion circuits. A highly stable solid-state modulator is also integrated to control the TWT grid for pulse operation. This conduction-cooled MPM operates with 270 VDC prime power, and is primarily designed for high-performance electronic warfare (EW) systems.
