| Selection parameter | What to specify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Application | Distance, level, parking, flow, object detection or other | Defines the sensing task and target. |
| Operating frequency | Required frequency or target measurement performance | Influences range, wavelength and system behavior. |
| Sensor type | Transmitter, receiver or transceiver | Matches the circuit and sensing architecture. |
| Measuring distance | Minimum and maximum sensing range | Narrows the suitable frequency and structure. |
| Beam angle | Required acoustic detection area | Controls coverage and target discrimination. |
| Environment | Indoor, outdoor, moisture, dust or liquid exposure | Determines protection and construction needs. |
| Housing | Open type, enclosed or customized structure | Fits the installation and operating medium. |
| Dimensions | Available diameter, height and installation space | Confirms mechanical compatibility. |
| Operating temperature | Expected minimum and maximum temperature | Must be checked against the selected model. |
| Quantity | Sample quantity and estimated production volume | Supports sampling and quotation planning. |

Standard ultrasonic sensors do not always meet the acoustic, mechanical or electrical requirements of a new product. MANORSHI evaluates custom requirements against the application and project specification.
Frequency can be evaluated according to sensing distance, detection accuracy, target material and application requirements.
Dimensions and mechanical structures can be evaluated for installation spaces and product designs.
Electrical and acoustic parameters can be reviewed against the driving circuit and sensing system.
Matched solutions can be evaluated when reliable ultrasonic transmission and echo detection are required.
Samples can be requested for evaluation before production requirements are finalized.
Replace generic supplier claims with relevant product-range, documentation, model-selection and project-support evidence.
Stable acoustic performance is essential for reliable ultrasonic sensing. Depending on the selected product and project requirements, evaluation may include:
For customized projects, confirm the required specifications, applicable tests and acceptance criteria with MANORSHI before production.

An ultrasonic sensor uses sound waves above the normal human hearing range to detect objects, measure distance or monitor physical conditions. A typical sensing system includes a transmitter, receiver or transceiver with suitable driving and signal-processing electronics.
An ultrasonic transducer converts electrical energy into ultrasonic acoustic energy or received ultrasonic waves into electrical signals. “Ultrasonic sensor” may refer to the transducer or a more complete sensing assembly, depending on the product.
MANORSHI publishes ultrasonic sensor and transducer solutions covering approximately 20kHz to 1MHz. The suitable frequency depends on sensing range, target size, resolution, environment and system design.
Open-type sensors are commonly used in protected indoor and embedded systems. Waterproof or protected structures are generally more appropriate around moisture, dust or outdoor conditions. Also confirm range, beam angle, sensitivity and installation requirements. Waterproof construction is not automatically suitable for continuous underwater use.
OEM and ODM projects can be evaluated for frequency, dimensions, housing, electrical characteristics and acoustic performance. Send your specifications or existing drawing for project evaluation.
Samples can be requested for testing and evaluation before production requirements are confirmed. Sample availability and commercial terms depend on the selected model.
